Hi, this is just how fmab changed my life if your just here to be an a$$ then please don't bother, I just feel as though I have to tell people because if I think its good to share personal experiences with other people especially when there as life changing as they were for me, so sit back and enjoy the feels!
When I was in 5th grade I was very alone, I had just moved schools and both of my schools had a sh*t ton of jerks that wanted to to nothing more then destroy my non-existent self-esteem. I was a loner who actually liked school unlike everyone else and had really bad emotional problems regarding my dad due to my parents divorce. I was a generally happy kid on the outside with a brother who tormented me as a way to make himself feel stronger, but her was a good guy deep down who not only fostered my love for video games like solid snake and soul caliber, he also got me really into anime. I remember he and I siting in my room with all the lights out at 6:00 my room totally dark accept for the T.V streaming netflix off my Wii. He showed me fma and I became emerced by the idea of alchemy and learned everything I could about it, chemistry, and genetics (bio alchemy). In-fact I still wanna be a geneticist for the cops one day. But going back to before I watched fma I was a really unhappy kid on the inside, protecting myself with a friendly determiner to hide my pain and sadness. I was essentially a walking mask hiding tears behind my paper mache cloak. But when I started becoming attached to ed, and seeing how he refused to cry no mater what, it gave me strength. I found myself telling myself at different times that ed wouldn’t cry so I wont either. And it was a great boost to my confidence! This show that many make fun of and bash because of it's childish look changed my life for the better. And not many things can do that to a person. I even meet my best friends all because my brother heard about it through the grape vine. So to wrap this little story up, I HIGHLY suggest that you go watch this anime, it changed my life, and maybe you’ll be lucky and have it change yours two.
